Adjacent to year-round dog-friendly beaches, our award-winning dog-friendly villas are a haven for dogs and their owners. Each villa has its own private enclosed garden, allowing your dog to run free (and smell the bugs!). Our outdoor showers are perfect for washing off patches and sand dunes after a good hike at the beach or canyon (they’re also great for washing wet clothes!).
Our Beach Villas offer beautiful and comfortable accommodation for families, couples, groups of friends and their dogs. All villas are fully equipped for a relaxing beach holiday in Devon.
We offer sofas for furniture and blankets to protect soft furnishings. If your four-legged friend likes to cuddle on the sofa or you think they need more, bring your own extra blankets to ensure all the furniture is protected. Villages have hard floors that can be washed and cleaned – no carpets!

Vet dog kennels are available on request to save on other items in the car. Upon arrival, our cabin guests were provided with a Doggy Box filled with all sorts of goodies, including an exclusive Saunton Beach Villas dog tag to wear with pride! We do not charge per dog per night – the £40 dog fee covers all your dogs during your stay.

We were delighted to win bronze in the ‘Dog Friendly Business of the Year’ category at the Devon Tourism Awards final held at Home Park Stadium in Plymouth in February 2023. We also have tried and tested (by the office dogs!) Kelso and Titch, Doggy Popcorn, Delicious Sausage and Crispy Biscuits! We’re also big fans of their Paw and Nose Paws – perfect for gifting your dogs after a long walk on the beach!
All our villas are dog friendly and have no dog restrictions, but if you are bringing 4 or more dogs we recommend booking a larger villa. For example, if you have 4 people and 5 dogs, you may be more comfortable with 6 rams than 4 rams. This is not a reservation request, we just want to make an offer for your convenience!
We have a group of dogs, like ski groups, who often live with us because they can live together without worrying about dog boundaries. We often hear from families who haven’t gone on holiday for years because they couldn’t find a place to fit all their dogs, and we’re delighted to be able to bring these group holidays together.

Late Availability Holidays In Devon
Yes, each villa has a fully enclosed garden – the fences are nearly 4 meters high and are hit and run style. Please let us know if you would like specific ceiling heights for certain villas. In the garden, you’ll find an outdoor shower, perfect for washing off the sand and mud after a long walk on the beach, or for cooling off your dog on a hot day.
If you have a dog that would benefit from a quiet location on site, please get in touch and we will be happy to advise you on the most suitable villa.
We do not allow our guests to leave their dogs in the villa if they need to go out. Of course, be a responsible dog owner and don’t leave your dog outside for long periods of time or if the villa gets too hot. We also ask that you respect your neighbors and do not leave your dog alone when you go out.
Nice place and clean and tidy place. All the basics are provided. We booked a four day holiday in the height of summer and had a great time – would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a decent and impeccable standard.

We had a great stay at 5 Dunes. Perfect location for the beautiful beaches of Saunton Sands. The cottage was well equipped and ideal for a family and our 2 large dogs. Great value for money even in the school holidays.
Just back from 4 days at Saunton Beach Cottage with my teenage boys and our barbie Bea 🙂 We had everything we needed and the place was amazing with the option to open the back door to the enclosed garden. We did lots of beach walks and the food at the beach grill was delicious. Tip – Get Tesla delivered to your door!

What a beautiful place! The cottage was clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beach was beautiful and our dog enjoyed running on the beach and on the pier. It was sad to leave him and go home, but I wouldn’t mind going back.

We spent 3 nights in Santon and enjoyed it very much. The place is clean and beautiful. You have to bring your own towel, but they will tell you in the message. The location is excellent, close to the beach.
