Dogs are prohibited in the North Beach and Castle Beach areas of Denby from 1 May until 30 September. South Denbigh Beach is a great place to take your dog for a walk on the sand. There are some restrictions on the left side of the South Beach car park, but the rest of the beach is free to roam your dog.
Jackson’s Bay is a dog-friendly beach on Barry Island. However, please note that dogs are prohibited from entering Whitmore Bay from 1 May to 30 September each year.
