There are several dog feeding stations around the park to ensure your dog has access to fresh water. We also have compost bins in convenient locations. Our on-site store sells dog food and poop bags if you leave the essentials at home, and our 4-acre recreation area is a great place to play ball games.
Dog Friendly Accommodation In Hostels And Bunkhouses
All of Mosswood Caravan Park’s caravans, caravans and motorhomes are dog-friendly, so you can bring your four-legged friend along. We respectfully request that dog owners keep their dogs under control and on a leash at all times. Please inform our reception team at the time of booking how many dogs you will be bringing. There is a small fee per night for dogs – see our tour tariff for more information.
The health of all our guests is our top priority, whether they have two or four legs. This means we need to make sure your dog is well-behaved at all times when you stay at Moss Wood. An aggressive or noisy dog can annoy your neighbors in the park and disturb other dogs enjoying their vacation. Please be aware of your dog’s behavior and let our staff know if you have any concerns. As a responsible owner, we ensure that you look after your dog at all times and we ask that you do the same at Moss Wood. To help you, we provide poop bags along with portable poop containers on arrival to all visitors with dogs.

We invite owners to use our dog walking service in our caravan park as well as in the surrounding area. We’re proud of our grounds and work hard to promote a wide variety of plants and wildlife, so there’s always plenty to see. Of course, we also ask owners to be responsible for their pets and clean up after them on site, especially as we have many children who also want to use our facilities. Explore our bush walks and tire your dog out at the same time! The winding road winds through rows of trees that are beautiful any time of year. In spring you’ll be treated to a wonderful carpet of wildflowers and in fall the colors are breathtaking.
With wonderful countryside close by, why not walk your dog in the local area? There are a number of walks you can do at Cockerham Sands or you can go a little further afield by walking around Glasson Dock, Garstang or Dolphinholme.
Why not follow the Lancashire Coastal Path down to the beach to get you and your dog some good exercise! This nationally recognized trail offers hikers some of the most beautiful scenery in the county!
